BEH ART: The Imaginary Orb

L3-54-The Imaginary Orb

Chinese contemporary painting on 3-ply rice paper

18 x 27.5″, unframed

An abstract painting of an orb that marks its birth with the artist stamp in the bottom left. Why such an orb? Why not spherical? Why all in fragments? Because the artist is still messing around with the different pieces and figuring out how her own orb should portray – the future that is not supposed to be seen and known but which may be predicted and foreseen by following the right path. On the other hand, the fragments also portray the footprints of the artist and are slowly forming the shape that the artist wants. What is your orb like?
