Chinese contemporary painting on 3-ply rice paper

17 x 26″, unframed

An abstract painting of the death of a man who is folded up and waiting to be reborn. You may think death is horrible because it seems unknown and unpredictable. To the artist, death means new life. A promising life is waiting ahead of her but it also depends entirely on her present life and what she does. Not karma. Not religion. But has she acted like what a human should be? The painting shows her achieving what she is here for and has give her bed, and therefore the surrounding energy has now formed a protection layer for the reborn to be possible. What have you achieved as a human? As a human that deserves to be reborn or not?
