BEH ART: Colourful Winds

L9-Colourful Winds

Chinese contemporary painting on rice paper

19 x 31.5″, unframed

An abstract painting of pixels of colours floating in the wind. The different colours are represented by different tones of the ink, each of a different weight, density and force, scattering in the air in various directions as led by the wind. The darker and denser areas (such as where the artist stamp is) represent the “eye” of the wind – powerful, peaceful and quiet. Such is the colourful nature. What colours do you see?
